With the increasing popularity of 3D visualisation in portals, I was wondering if there are any plans to incorporate some form of 3D interface into Jetspeed?
For example, Hobona et al. (2006) use Java3D and a Z39.50 enigne to create a Portal Butler (2006) discusses the very popular Google Earth (over a million registered downloads so far!!) and other 3D portals.
