[VOTE] Release portals-pom-1.0 and applications-pom-1.0

Hi all
I have prepared a new Apache Portals super POM for use by all sub projects within Apache Portals. In addition, I've also prepared a new Apache Portals Applications super POM, inheriting from the Apache Portals super POM. 


Please review the release candidates of these two POMs from the Nexus 
staging repository below:
