Yes, we disabled posting from Nabble to all Apache lists in response to this request on 8/29. The understanding was that we will disable the posting and wait for user feedback. Before long, a senior Apache member noticed Nabble from some wiki page. He liked Nabble and suggested several improvement ideas in a series of email discussions. He wanted to try posting from Nabble, so we enabled the posting again on 9/21. Regarding WS lists, it appears that Nabble was banned on or around 8/23 as we've not gotten any messages since this date. So, the ban happened before the initial discussion on infra list. We are monitoring the user activities closely. Here are some feedback from Apache committers: http://www.nabble.com/-OT-Do-you-know-nabble.com--t252499.html#a706596 http://www.nabble.com/A-surprising-wiki-discovery-%28db-mail-list-archives%29-t331414.html#a923617 http://www.nabble.com/Fwd%3A-About-Nabble-t379637.html#a1048187 We believe that Nabble will prove quite useful to Apache users. I can assure you that we are sensitive to the requests of the community and intend to resolve all issues to your satisfaction. Can we get Nabble reinstated on the list?
