- == Introduction ==
- Synapse is a mediation framework for Web Services. Synapse allows messages
flowing through, into, or out of an organization to be mediated, including
aspects such as:
- * Logging, service lookup, performance mediation
-  *    Versioning, failover, monitoring
-  *    Fault management, tracing

- The user guide is available at [http://wiki.apache.org/ws/Synapse/UserGuide

- Synapse, incidentally, is pronounced "sin-apse" (as in "it would be a *sin*
to pronounce this incorrectly"), and not "sine-apse" (as in "good pronunciation
is a *sign* of a careful speaker"). Visit
[http://www.answers.com/topic/synapse] to hear the word pronounced.
