A release plan for Axis 1.5 was presented by Bjorn Townsend in April 2007.[1] The Axis developer community was receptive to the plan, and several members of the community agreed to work toward the release as time permits. There has also been some commits on the project from Doug Davis, Glen Daniels, Jarek Gawor and Tom Jordahl, fixing bugs and resolving some issues with the interop tests now that soapinterop.java.sun.com has gone away. + + === Miscellaneous === + While Axis has been in stasis, there is still a decent amount of activity in the Axis JIRA. 45 new issues have been created since March 2007, an average of about three per week.
