Hi, Last Friday the ASF board approved my nomination as chairman of the XML graphics PMC. I am familiarizing myself with the tasks of this role and the infrastructure around it. I thank you all again for your confidence in me, and I will do my best to serve the XML graphics project as the project, developers and users deserve.
