I'm also interested to learn if there are ways to protect against denial
of service attacks. To test out Genesis's claims of protection against
these I got my neigbour to nuke me - Genesis certainly performed much
better than my parent's wintel box which locked up in about 2 seconds.
It slowed down my Amiga a lot though and gave me hell lag for about a
minute after he stopped. Still, it didn't disconnect me, and
considering I've only got a 28k modem and the phone lines here are very
poor this may not be too bad. Still, if there's any better protection
available I'd like to find out about it!
