I'm not quite sure if you mean if Genesis is 'on line' or if Genesis is running? If I
have Genesis running but not online I can later check my email no trouble, but as
stated below I can't run yam without Genesis running anyway because ramlib fails if I
do.

I get this too (except I don't get a straight out guru - I get ramlib failing (8000
0004)) - I have had various suggestions about ways to raise the stack value of the
system, and have tried most of them (actually there's one I still haven't tried yet
but will soonish) but none have worked. Instead I have written a little Arexx script
that checks if Genesis is running and if it isn't it launches it. I put this before
all of my internet apps on my DOpus start menu. Of course if you don't use DOpus this
may be of no use, but if you do I could send the script.
