Hi all,

On 13-Mar-00, John Gillanders spoke thus:

Allan Rasmusson has informed me that I need to add something to the DNS
server box in the interfaces/resolv section. Adding Dave's IP seems to
have helped. Now most programs work fine. Unfortunately STRICQ still
doesn't work - it locks up (it seems to work with Miami but I've had
some strange lockups when using stricq and irc with miami so I don't
know...). I also had a LOT of crashes when trying to
set Genesis up. It seems to crash almost at random now if I use it to
connect :(

I also get weird messages when connecting - e.g. this is the output to
AmiTCP log

Wed Mar 15 23:23:23 2000 [err ]: sana2_online: could not put
DEVS:Networks/cnet.device, unit 0 online.
Wed Mar 15 23:38:17 2000 [note ]: LAN_and_ihug is now online.

and yet it connects okay and I can ping Dave and myself, and he can ping
me. If anyone has any idea what's going on I'd like to hear. Anyway,
we're setting up a BSD box tonight (a friend has one set up and he's
helping us) so that might fix everything anyway (fingers crossed.)
