Hi Benny,

portmap can be founf in amitcp:bin. You shoud have it already. You wi have
to download nfsd from the following URL:

    http://www.pr0n.freeserve.co.uk/nfsd.html

There is an annoying incompatibility between Linux and the Amiga through nfsd
that I haven't yet solved - nfsd denies any attempt to change file
attributes because the Amiga (at least PFS) doesn't support file attributes
ike UNIX. This can cause programs to fail like rpm. I think its time to hack
the code.... Also I think there is plenty of room for performance
improvements on my configuration. A 7 meg file took over 20 mins to copy
through nfs, but with ftp - 23 secs....

Anyway, nfsd is great - allows you to do some interesting things. Download
and enjoy!

Dave
