I tried. I tried several ways:

Created a new ISP (cloned the needed one, but removed the DIAL from the
login-events, so it only was set to "GoOnline").

I copied all env-vars for the current connection to disk and after reboot
I copied it back to ENV:.

Then I disabled Query Hostname and Query Domainname in the GENESiS Prefs
for this ISP. (I also tried it without disabling)

I have then proceeded to do the following:

Tried going online with "USE BOOTP" in GENESiS-Prefs set to both true and
false.
Tried going online without GENESiS but with "AmiTCP:bin/bootpconfig
ppp0" (which crashed, btw. appp.device)

Tried all of the combinations. No fun, no joy, it resulted each time in
"Could not set sana2......online" error and modem-hangup.

BootP is only possible if the ISP has a bootp-server. This is why Miami
has a special option to save all relevant data reset-proof in memory and
reuse it upon next time.

So, I still would like to request at least these three things for GENESiS:

 PPPoE
Resume an already established PPP connection after rebooting
Fixing the bug, which causes GENESiS to display the wrong user when
logging in from console. It displays the last user.

Attached you will find the debug-log of appp.device.

Also, I would like to know where I can find the documentation, that is
mentioned in the log.

Good bye,
