Hello, Would you be able to explain your question in a bit more detail? Perhaps send an example? When you mention "datasets", we are not sure if you are referring to the query or the target in the intersection.
If "datasets" refers to the query, extending the BED record to include extra 5' or 3' bases is an option when exporting as sequence. Please send an example and your exact steps and the output you get with defaults and the desired output.
