Some more information....

I am interpreting your question to be one about visibility. This is what I will 
forward to the developers. 

For scientific reasons, an actual bar instead of a point would not work (the 
plot against the Y-axis restricts this particular graphing mark). Scale is an 
important consideration and can complicate visibility. Reducing the length of 
genomic is the simplest immediate remedy. Some alternate solutions to increase 
visibility are included on this page (link below).
