Hello Saatvik,

We apologize, this program is non-functional (has never been 
functional). It is on our "cleanup" to-do list.

Instead we suggest (if you are a linux/gnu user) using the utility fold. 
  The program will break any line longer than 60 characters into 
multiple lines of 60 (or fewer) characters.  As long as the fasta 
headers are shorter than the -w argument, it will work just like 
chopFaLines was intended to.

unix% fold -w 60 my.fa
