Dear Claudio,

Instead of pasting your IDs using the "paste list" button, click on the
"create" button next to "filter:".

Then paste your IDs (deleting the "*" in the process) into the box on the same
line as "name does match" which is at the very top of the page.

Click on "submit" and then click on "get output".

If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact the mailing
list.

Subject: [Genome] Retrieving sequences

Hello,

I have a number of human gene IDs in the UCSC format that I pasted as a
list in the Table Browser to retrieve the corresponding coding
sequences. I found out that the output includes some extra sequences
that are not included in my list. This is annoying for the subsequent
steps, so I wonder is there is any way to restrict the output only to
the sequences from the IDs I pasted.
Here's my list:

uc001bwo.1
uc001efe.1
uc001htm.1
uc001kfp.1
uc001mio.1
uc001oio.1
uc001tjr.2
uc001ziu.1
uc002flv.1
uc002ghb.1
uc002hzk.1
uc002kaj.1
uc002tzm.2
uc002ujd.2
uc002vsw.1
uc003gfo.1
uc003ixd.1
uc003sos.2
uc004bsm.2
uc010fyd.1

Thank you.

Best regards,

Claudio Casola
