Hello Arne, We are wondering if there is a setting on your system that is causing the display problem.
To help us investigate, please open a terminal window and type in the command "xwininfo". Then click on your root window and send us the result. The theory is that you are running in an 8-bit display environment. This diagnostic information will help us to confirm or not.
