Dear Paul,

Depending on which variant of NF2 you are interested in there are slightly
different coordinates.

1)To make sure that you are using the latest assembly start from this page:

http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgGateway?clade=mammal&org=Human&db=hg19

Make sure that the assembly is set to hg19 (the latest assembly).

2) Type "NF2" into the box that says "position or search term"

3) It will display these search results:

http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTracks?clade=mammal&org=Human&db=hg19&position=NF2&hgt.suggest=&pix=1000&Submit=submit

I hope that this helps. If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to
contact the mailing list again.

Subject: [Genome] interval 22

I have a patient with a deletion of chromosome 22q, determined by
microarray (Athena)

The company tells me that NF2 is in this interval, but I find NF2 only
nearby per your browser

Athena tells me a more up to date rendering of your genome browser has
NF2 in the interval.

First, how do I switch from one rendering of the genome to another.

Second, is NF2 in this interval?

22q 26,898,825-28,530,899

Thanks very much.
