Hello,
I downloaded the Genes and Gene Predictions Tracks - UCSC Genes.
I noticed that the txStart is always < txEnd, which feels wrong.
Transcription start should be > then transcription end on the minus
strand.
So looking for TSS using this table I got wrong results. This means if
it's a minus strand I have to flip the txStart with the txEnd.
I don't think this kind of annotation is correct. Please correct me if I
am wrong.
