Hi Kayla, Thank you for your message.
Using autoscale=off along viewLimts=0:25 sets the scale for the entire track. Is it possible to have a dynamic scaling for the part of the tracks currently being viewed and apply the same dynamic scaling to 2 tracks? That is, for the part of the track currently being viewed, one would obtain the maximum value and minimum value after comparing the two tracks. Then, set the scale on both the tracks to this maximum and minimum. This will enable us to have both the tracks with the same scale obtained dynamically for the current viewing area. -Dhiral. ________________________________ From: Kayla Smith <[email protected]> To: Dhiral Phadke <[email protected]> Cc: Ruchir Shah <[email protected]>; Dhiral Phadke <[email protected]>; [email protected] Sent: Thursday, May 28, 2009 2:53:50 PM Subject: Re: [Genome] Scaling the y-axis for custom tracks Hello Dhiral, Here is a page with information on how to make wiggle custom tracks: http://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/wiggle.html You'll need to turn off autoScale, and set the view limits for each custom track: An example of the syntax is here (from the page linked above): autoScale=off viewLimits=0.0:25.0 I hope this information is helpful to you. Please don't hesitate to contact us again if you require further assistance.
