Hi, I was using both kgXref and refLink to get information/conversion between proteins and mRNA/genes
I was wandering about examples such as the following: in kgXref for NP_954572 I have the following entries: uc001afr.1 NM_199121 Q6PCB0-2 VWA1 NM_199121 NP_954572 von Willebrand factor A domain containing 1 uc001afs.1 NM_022834 VWA1_HUMAN VWA1 NM_022834 NP_954572 von Willebrand factor A domain containing 1 uc009vke.1 CCDS28 Q6PCB0-2 VWA1 NM_199121 NP_954572 von Willebrand factor A domain containing 1 which links together NP_954572 and NM_199121 but also NP_954572 and NM_022834 while in refLink there is only one link for NP_954572 which is NM_199121 VWA1 von Willebrand factor A domain containing 1 NM_199121 NP_954572 78236 298923 64856 611901 What should be considerd as the correct NM_ link/conversion for NP_954572 thanks yael _______________________________________________ Genome maillist - [email protected] https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome
