Hi Marissa,

On our test server (genome-test.cse.ucsc.edu), we do have a minimal
Plasmodium falciparum browser. However, we don't currently have plans to
update it. Additionally, on the genbank ftp site, which is the source of
the assemblies we display, the most recent version available is from
2002
(ftp://ftp.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genbank/genomes/Plasmodium_falciparum/).
This means that there isn't really an update available for us at this
time. I apologize for an inconvenience.

Looks like the most updated genome information is available at the
Sanger Institute, so you might want to check there for the information
you are looking for: http://www.sanger.ac.uk/Projects/P_falciparum/

Please don't hesitate to contact the mail list again if you have any
further questions.
