Hi Santos, We are currently displaying dbSNP build 131 (132 coming soon). So, if the SNPs in question have been added by dbSNP very recently, they may not be in our current track.
Also, we filter the SNP display by dbSNP's weight value, which depends on how often a SNP's flanking region aligns to the genome. The default filter is on SNPs where weight=1. You might try changing it to a filter of weight=3 by going to the track controls page and expanding the "Filtering Options" section. Let us know if you have any additional questions. - Greg Roe UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group > Subject: > SNP question > From: > "Santos Alonso" <[email protected]> > Date: > Mon, 7 Mar 2011 20:30:08 +0100 > > To: > <[email protected]> > > > Hi > I can find over 100 SNPs in dbSNP that map to locus DEFB103B (or > DEFB103A, this is a duplicated locus), but none of them show up on you > browser.
