Hello Ruth, In this case, you want to filter by "cell" type (http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTrackUi?db=hg19&g=est). To view a list of valid terms for the "cell" text box, go to the Table Browser (located in the top blue navigation bar) and select the following:
clade: Mammal genome: Human assembly: (select an assembly) group: All Tables database: hg19 (or select appropriate database) table: cell filter: click "create" then type the following next to Free-form query: name like "%lymphoblastoid%" . Click submit. (for T cells, type: name like "%T cell%") output format: selected fields from primary and related tables. Click "get output". From here, select "name" then "get output". This will provide a list of valid cell type names you can use for filtering. I hope this helps. If you have any further questions, please contact us again at [email protected]. --- Luvina Guruvadoo UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group Ruth Grychtol wrote: > Dear all, > > I want to specify the settings of the human EST Track and human mRNA > track - especially I only want information of lymphoblastoid cells or > T cells.
