Hello Sam,

We haven't had a "UCSC Genes" track on rat in a while but currently 
there is a "known genes" track from which you can select the kgXref 
table as you have been doing. This track, however, is fairly old and you 
might want to use the refLink table from the RefSeq track instead of the 
knownGenes kgXref table as this is updated nightly.
