Hi Jordan,

An engineer pointed out that the data that you are referring to is
also in this track:

http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTrackUi?c=chr22&g=gnfAtlas2&hgTracksConfigPage=configure

You can use the information on the track description page to help you cite.

,Hi Jordan,

Please see this section,  "UCSC Genome Browser database/data" on the
following page:

http://genome.ucsc.edu/cite.html

Cite the paper and as stated on the above page, "Annotation tracks
should also be credited according to their source, which can be found
on the track's description page or on the Genome Browser Credits
page." Here is a link to the track description page for the hg19 UCSC
Genes track:
If you scroll down, you will see the credits section if further
citation is needed. That is really all that you need to do!

Hi Vanessa,

Thanks, I did see that page but it seemed to be about citing the
genomic data and some of the tools.  But the microarray data doesn't
seem to fit any of those categories.  Is there not something more
specific to that, or more details about the microarray data collection
and analysis?

Thanks,
Jordan

In the human and mouse databases, when one clicks on the UCSC Genes
track, there are GNF microarray data.  What is the proper way to cite
these data?

I searched the support pages but could not find an answer.

Thanks in advance,
Jordan
