Hi Betsy, chrX:83620782-84141624 There are 3 DECIPHER entries showing in the browser for chrX:83620782-84141624. They all show as belonging on X (on both UCSC and DECIPHER), not 1. I'm not sure where you're seeing chr1. Try resetting the UCSC browser and looking again, just in case. The entries on DECIPHER: https://decipher.sanger.ac.uk/patient/253735 https://decipher.sanger.ac.uk/patient/251913 https://decipher.sanger.ac.uk/patient/253611
chr18:46578692-46649148 There are two DECIPHER entries showing here. The coords listed for those in DECIPHER match the coords in the browser. For this one, https://decipher.sanger.ac.uk/patient/249279, there may be some confusion because this entry spans almost the entire chromosome. Zoom out 100% in the browser and you'll see. Note it's coords from DECIPHER: chr18: 10001-78016181. So that is expected to show up in 18p and 18q. It does seem a little odd, but if there's an error, it's on DECIPHER's end. Again, on the other one showing up here: https://decipher.sanger.ac.uk/patient/1581. If you look at DECIPHER there are two occurrences (click Aberrations tab in DECIPHER). One covers most of 18p, the other most of 18q. So you'd expect to see 1581 in 18p and 18q, and we're correctly showing what DECIPHER has listed. You may want to contact DECIPHER if you are concerned about the validity of any of these entries.
