Hi, I am curious as to the maximum number of sequences allowed within a 2bit file (keeping the total sequence content within the 4Gb limit). Is the count stored as a 32-bit integer? From http://genome-source.cse.ucsc.edu/gitweb/?p=kent.git;a=blob_plain;f=src/inc/twoBit.h;hb=HEAD it would appear as such.
