Hello, Mali. What you mention can be done with the Table Browser. If you ever need assistance with the Table Browser, you can also check out the User's Guide at http://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/hgTablesHelp.html.
Your reference genome will have to have an "Other RefSeq" track in order for this to be possible. Please see the previously answered mailing question at https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/pipermail/genome/2011-November/027623.html. Please note that the instructions will obviously differ slightly depending on which genomes you're interested in. Please contact us again at [email protected] if you have any further questions. --- Steve Heitner UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of mali salmon Sent: Tuesday, November 22, 2011 3:31 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [Genome] gene IDs conversion between species Dear Sir/Madam I would like to do cross species conversions of gene IDs.
