Hi Carsten,

Unfortunately, I think the process you've done is the only way to do it 
(as far as our tools go). Some of our tracks (UCSC Genes, RefSeq Genes, 
etc) do have an option to output protein sequence from the Table Browser 
if you select output format = sequence (and then select protein on the 
next page). But this is not an option for Human mRNAs/all_mrna.
