Hi Rad, Apologies for the delayed response. We don't have any tools that will manipulate the numbers in wig/bigWig files. You would need to do any calculations yourself and then re-load the tracks.
You might also be interested in using the log transform function that is available in the track controls for wiggle tracks. Right-click on a track and select "Configure (your track)" to turn it on. If you have further questions, please contact us again at [email protected]. -- Brooke Rhead UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group On 1/13/12 2:34 PM, Mohamed Radhouane Aniba wrote: > Hello everyone, > > Having a bunch of wig and bigwig files I wanted to know if there is a > way to normalize the information within this kind of files so that > they are considered as probabilities spanning from 0 to 1, i noticed > that some values exceed even 3000 or so, is there any neat way to > normalize them ? > > Regards > > Rad _______________________________________________ Genome maillist > - [email protected] > https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome _______________________________________________ Genome maillist - [email protected] https://lists.soe.ucsc.edu/mailman/listinfo/genome
