Hello, Natalia,

We do not have the resources to address this question, but
I do know that there is a mouse gene called agouti (geneSymbol, a)
that is associated with coat color.  By visiting the mm9
assembly on the Browser and typing that into the position box,
you can click to a page that describes the gene.

If you turn on the Dog Chain/Net track, you see that there
is homology to the mouse gene in dog:

I am sorry that we cannot be of more use to you than this,
but the question is a bit outside the area of our usual questions
on this list, which is mostly about how to use the Genome Browser.
