Hi Alex,
If you have large amounts of data to upload, we recommend using bigBed and bigWig data formats: http://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/bigBed.html http://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/bigWig.html Using these file formats should be considerably faster. If you are still interested in setting up a mirror, here is information on how to do it: http://genome.ucsc.edu/admin/mirror.html If you have more questions, please email: [email protected] Vanessa Kirkup Swing UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: guoshicheng2005 <[email protected]> Date: Tue, Mar 13, 2012 at 3:08 AM Subject: [Genome] Dear Sir: how to solve the slow speed when i upload my data to ucsc personalized track?
