Hi Marjorie, I'm not sure which dashed line you're referring to - perhaps the lines with arrows, such as on UCSC Genes and Genbank mRNAs? Please see the track descriptions, which you can access by clicking the title of the track just above its display pull down menu - or by clicking the vertical gray block to the left of the browser image that corresponds to that track. In the description you will find a section on display conventions. Make sure to follow any links in those sections leading to the specifics for that track type (e.g. psl alignment, gene prediction).
For more information about AF086203, simply click on it in the browser. There you'll find links to this item on Genbank, etc. Please let us know if you have any additional questions: [email protected] - Greg Roe UCSC Genome Bioinformatics Group On 4/30/12 12:34 PM, Marjorie Beggs wrote: > http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTracks?hgHubConnect.destUrl=..%2Fcgi-bi > n%2FhgTracks&clade=mammal&org=Human&db=hg19&position=chr7%3A106130172-10 > 6410653&hgt.suggest=AF086203&hgt.suggestTrack=knownGene&Submit=submit&hg > sid=262304351&knownGene=pack > > > > I was wondering if AF086203 is real.
