Hello, Abdel.

You can always find a description of the fields in a table and sample rows
from the table in the table schema. You can view the table schema from the
track description page or from our Table Browser.

The hg19 Gap track description page is located at
http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTrackUi?db=hg19&g=gap. Simply click the
"View table schema" link.

>From the Table Browser (http://genome.ucsc.edu/cgi-bin/hgTables), select the
following options:

Clade: Mammal
Genome: Human
Assembly: Feb. 2009 (GRCh37/hg19)
Group: Mapping and Sequencing Tracks
Track: Gap
Table: gap

Then click the "describe table schema" button.

Please contact us again at [email protected] if you have any further
questions.

Subject: [Genome] Assembly Gaps

Dear all,

I downloaded the assembly gaps from:
http://hgdownload.cse.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/hg19/database/gap.txt.gz

Where can I find what the values in each column mean?

Many thanks!

Kind regards,
Abdel
