Is there a way to put a gui or front end with an interface on mplayer-bin?

Hello!
I tried to emerge mplayer-bin because I need to watch some windows
videos... The format is the wmf and the codec the dmo (wmv9dmo family).
I use emerge and the win32codec are installed too!
Has someone saw a video in a 64bit gentoo box?
