Hi, I have just seen your post. I have been using Linux since 96 and used Debian. I tried Gentoo when the eb mirrors were down. Now I won't go back. The manuals are concise and you'll find the list very helpful. Plus as you use the OS you'll find it is the pinnacle of Linux.
