I can't seem to be able to emerge sun-jdk I have downloaded both jdk-6-dlj-linux-amd64.bin and jdk-6-dlj-linux-i586.bin put them both in my /usr/portage/distfiles/ directory, set permissions to root:portage ugo+rx and I still get "cannot read files. please check permissions" when I try to emerge sun-sdk. Also, I can't seem to find any howto's or info about this problem.
