Some devs have mentioned needing a 2.6.0 livecd for various projects.
I have put together some "temporary" scripts for this

This is a major hack, so unless you really need it, better to wait
for catalyst.
Right now cloop is broken so this cd uses zisofs (30% loss in compression)
busybox is broken with 2.6, a static insmod is needed...
Uploading a x86 2.6 livecd tonight, and brad_mssw is trying the new scripts
right now for a amd64 livecd.
