unfortunately the only solution for this is to install 2.95, i could explain why it's not possible, but since you are asking this question, i doubt it would do any good (no offence) the only solution is to install gcc2.95 and use the gcc switching utility that comes with the package (i think it's called gcc-select or something) sorry i couldn't give you better news
