Actually... Rather interesting sidenote... I've noticed that with a certain group of fairly old and rusty developers, there's a really big tendency to blame anything in sight for any screwups they make rather than taking responsibility for their own actions. Things I've heard so far:
* It's MacOS's fault! * We always did it like this * I've been here longer than you, so sod off you n00b * If we do it like that, it's easier for me. Users are a nuisance and should show that they are 1337 enough to work with the wonderful things I create. * You stink! I think it'd be kind of entertaining in a sick twisted laughing at a car accident kind of way to let these people deal with real users once in a while who don't have cvs access or voice in #gentoo-dev. Ya know, no chance to jump out of a slow-mo train wreck, that kind of thing ...
