yeah ... i think if the user wants a .config to apply to all versions, then they name it ${PN} ... if they want to have certain versions have certain configs, then those would be ${P} i think the busybox ebuild does this scan already and it boils down to a pretty simple for loop ... {${PF},${P},${PN}} -mike
