I'm not an experienced ebuild scripter. I only knew of RDEPEND and DEPEND. Now I'm reading this on PDEPEND: http://devmanual.gentoo.org/general-concepts/dependencies/index.html The two software packages depend at run-time. I'll try PDEPEND.
