Hi all, about the Mdev stuff, Slashbeast from Funtoo.org started that project a while ago.
https://github.com/slashbeast/mdev-like-a-boss I think that it's actually working pretty good on his box. Some Coredevs from Funtoo are actually running with that stuff.
