Uh, does emerge-webrsync have some kind of automagical detection of the fact that you're building a chroot? I would think that it would sync /usr/portage, and not /mnt/gentoo/usr/portage. Perhaps you should move that down into the chroot section, and mkdir /usr/portage if that is needed? Rich
