Word of warning, asan was still terminally broken on nontrivial code last time I tested it.

Its masked by default and only unmasked on amd64, arm, powerpc, sparc and x86 with glibc. Its pretty much broken on other arches, on other libc's and on PaX hardened kernels. See the following bugs:
