I can look at taking over net-dialup/xc. It rarely gets updates anyways, as upstream never intended it to be used on Linux (Xenix and SCO OpenServer were the intended targets). Somehow, it works, but has quite a few QA issues (namely cavalier sprintf() usage with no buffer overflow checks). It's been on my TODO list to fix up one of these days, as well as adding the hard-to-find 5.x release.
