I could contribute with my binary repository too. Currently over 400 packages, many from net-* category. The target is x86 (-march=i386)/haredened-dev-kernel (2.6)/uclibc

I have them in 2 formats, gentoo binaries and apk (stripped tbz2 + additional "control" file, converted to tar.gz)

I have a bootable cd (beta) with a hardened 2.6 kernel with support for udev, pcmcia, wireless (additional rt2500, ipw2200 drivers), usb and CompactFlash storage.

You boot the cd, it loads a base with uclibc, udev, busybox and apk-tools + a userspecified list of apk packages into RAM, leaf-bering style. You can then download apk's over http, bsd style:

export APK_PATH="http://need.space.some/where/apks";
apk_add -r <package>

The tbz2 dir could be of interest since it contains some packages that didn't compile out of the box (like ipsec-tools, fetchmail...) However, I don't have the bandwith so I need someone to host everything.
