Thats possible with the patch. My $HOME/.eclipse/eclipsrc looks like
this:
[...]
LINKS=$HOME/.eclipse/more_user.links
[...]

So additional sites can be introduced via this file. The problem is,
that this site will not be available for eclipse internal updatemanager
'installs' (as all 'linked in' sites) 

Anyway, I think 3.0 has some better support for all this. Hopefully it
will be better suited for real world packagaging...

Do you have any?

Anyway, may I have a look? Seeing other packaging of eclipse is
interesting. Usually I find something new to copy :)
