While upgrading to linux-headers-2.4.22-r1 this morning, I get this:
* PLEASE UPDATE TO YOUR PACKAGE TO USE linux-info.eclass
a few dozen times. Anyone know what this means?
It means that that someone has put a QA check into portage and it is complaining about the fact that the headers package does not inherit a (presumably new) eclass which is preferred for the job at hand. This is something for the maintainer(s) to worry about and not yourself. So go ahead - they will work just fine.
