[gentoo-sparc] Kernel Panic Problems

I just installed gentoo stage1 on an Ultra10, with kernel 2.6.12-gentoo-r4, it starts up fine, but then after a couple minutes I get:   Kernel Panic – not syncing: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!   And the system locks.   What could be causing this? Bad hardware or is it something I am doing wrong?   TIA   Nick
